Inovatools was founded in 1990 as a tool production company in Beilngries, Germany. In 1992, the company moved to the location of today’s company headquarters in Kinding-Haunstetten. Inovatools has continued to grow since its foundation and now includes production and sales sites in over 40 industrial countries worldwide.

Energy and Climate
As a member of the VEA initiative for climate-friendly medium-sized companies. (https://www.klimafreundlicher-mittelstand.de/) we are committed to the goals of the energy transition: increasing energy efficiency and reducing emissions of greenhouse gases. We advocate a climate-friendly medium-sized company.
Reduction of the CO2 footprint
We strive for a continuous reduction of our CO2 emissions up to CO2 neutrality. Our goal is the constant improvement of operational environmental protection and the avoidance of environmental pollution. We are currently working on certification according to ISO 50001, which will then be supplemented by ISO 14001, thus showing that environmental protection is a priority for us.
Renewable energies
In 2021 we installed photovoltaic systems at our location in Kinding, with which we generate approx. 220 MWh of energy per year, which saves approx. 88 tons of CO2. An expansion of our plant capacity for the generation of renewable energies is continuously checked. Our long-term goal is to switch our energy supply 100% to renewable energies.
Heating Energy
In the energy mix of the Inovatools, heating is a subordinate consumption variable. Nevertheless, we have been working here for years with the use of environmentally friendly heat pump technology and heat utilization from the production process. On cold days, this system is supported by an efficient gas condensing boiler.
Energy Efficiency
The energy efficiency of our buildings is an important element in achieving our goals. We have already been able to achieve positive effects through a large number of measures. This includes, among other things, the complete conversion to LED lighting in the production area, the use of waste heat from our machines and constant measures around building renovation and insulation.
Transportation and Logistics
Our goal is to reduce our transport emissions by using more sustainable transport solutions for our global goods transport. That's why we offer all our customers CO2 neutral shipping with DHL. Our goal is to reduce our ecological footprint along our value chain.
Materials and Waste
Doing business sustainably and ecologically in harmony with nature, while conserving resources, avoiding waste, and minimizing the impact on the environment, not only ensures the future viability of Inovatools, but also contributes wherever Inovatools is active as a company, to more prosperity and environmental protection. So, we make a general contribution to healthy living, and well-being.
Waste reduction and prevention
Reducing the volume of waste is a continuous improvement process for us. In production, we achieve constant success by reducing material consumption and waste. It is essential for us to reuse and recycle materials that can no longer be used in our manufacturing process. We work with partners who act in an environmentally friendly manner. We rely on renewable raw materials, e.g., with sustainable packaging. In addition, we are constantly seeking to raise the awareness of waste avoidance.
Digitalization
We see the progressive digitization as an opportunity for more sustainability and climate protection. By focusing on paperless work, e.g., by introducing a document management system or switching to digital invoicing, we were able to reduce our internal printing and paper expenses by more than 50% compared to 2017. In the area ofproduct marketing, we are increasingly relying on digital solutions such as our INOSHOP and the online catalog of our product portfolio instead of print versions.
Corporate and Social Responsibility
As a company, actively take measures to have a positive influence on society and to meet social responsibility: this is a core idea of the Inovatools Group. With a focused Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) approach, we take targeted measures for environmental and climate protection, for the individual promotion and support of our employees and for strengthening the community in the region. In the long term, we have set ourselves the goal of further expanding our sustainable corporate management and fulfilling our social responsibility in the future. Corporate social responsibility is firmly anchored at all management levels. Our CSR strategy covers the areas of environment, community, employees, and workplace.
Corporate Culture
The corporate culture has a strong impact on the health and willingness to perform of the employees. Using employee surveys, we analyze and evaluate the status quo and the desired culture of our company on the part of the employees. With regular feedback rounds with employees and workshops in the management team, we continue to shape our corporate culture.

Occupational safety and the well-being of our employees are integral parts of our corporate policy.
